I wanted to share a bit about myself on this International Women's Day 2024 (#IWD2024). I feel rather empowered today, and celebrating women's achievements is essential everywhere.

I'm a professional graphic designer by trade. I've always been creative, which has helped me work with some fantastic brands in my career. I love painting, which keeps things creatively interesting at home—a passion my daughter has inherited. Around 15 years ago, I took my skills and knowledge into marketing, which was one of my best decisions. It's incredible how well the two complement each other!
This is dating me, but I've been in this creative industry for 25 years, and let me tell you, I've seen it all! The good and the not-so-fabulous. I've worked with incredible women and men and have many cherished memories at every point along my journey. I've embraced the evolution of this fabulous industry over time and tackled speed bumps on the way.
I love what I do, which is essential in life. I'm happy to share that I've just launched my passion disguised as a business. My inherent dedication and zest for my work always shine through, and I always strive to exceed the expectations of my colleagues and clients. I feel blessed to have never felt unequal in my career; I know this isn't always the case for all women.
Today and every day, I celebrate women. I'm proud to raise my daughter to know that girls can do anything they want, with full-force husband/daddy reinforcement!
We all know the saying, "Behind every great man, there's a great woman." But I also believe in another saying: "Behind every great woman is another great woman!" It could be a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, mentor, colleague, boss, or friend. I've been fortunate to have all of the above in my corner, rooting daily. Indeed, not just today; let us empower each other throughout the year and #inspireinclusion everywhere we go by setting an uplifting example for others!
